How the checker works

  • The gap is the other city's UTC offset minus yours.
  • The tool checks every hour of the next 12 months, then narrows each change down to the minute.
  • It reads the time zone database built into your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the page has no analytics or cookies.
  • If the gap moves and comes back within a day, the blip is ignored.
